This week’s pet is “Poppy”, belonging to Renee of Gwinn.



Says Renee--“ Poppy is my cat. She has a great story. Back in January I lived in Gwinn and one of my friends accidentally let her run out the door when I wasn't home. It was freezing cold and one of the worst blizzards of the year. I went out looking for her, posted flyers...you name it. I wanted my kitty back and so did my children! So eventually I had to accept the fact that she was gone and we would never see her again. Then one day a friend of mine and myself decided to go volunteer at UPAWS and they had a stray cat brought in from Gwinn. Pure white. Long fur. I saw her and immediately thought it was her! Now, I am not so sure. The only difference between the 2 is the eyes.”
