This week’s pet is Pablo, who belongs to Nichole of Manistique.



Here’s what she says--

My dog's name is Pablo and he is a 6 pound Chihuahua. I got Pablo from a breeder in Wisconsin. I found him on the breeders website and fell in love with him ever since so a week later i was in the car going to Wisconsin. Pablo is a certified American kennel club dog. The most i love about him is that he is very cuddly! At night, he sleeps in my bed with me. He will lay
right next to me on my pillow just like a human would and sleeps there all night next to me. In the morning time, he likes to lay in bed with me and get his belly rubbed and get kisses :)

Pablo is a very, very spoiled little rat!! He has 2 winter jackets, 2 hoodies, 4 t-shirts, a pair of swim trunks, winter booties, diaper bag (ha ha), puppy purse and wears a blue studded collar. He gets very cold in the winter time and so he needs his boots and a jacket. During the spring and fall i like to put his shirts on him just to make sure he stays warm enough. He does have swim trunks but wont go in the water without me. Well, i probably wouldn’t let him go in alone because he's too little. Last summer
when i was at community events where people were around i would have him on a leash but that scared me because he's so little and so i got a bag to put him in for this summer so we will see how that works out. He usually gets what he wants but i am careful not to give him EVERYTHING.

Pablo is also a very jealous dog. If he sees someone getting something that he doesn't have (treats) he gets very upset. I have another smaller sized dog in the house and if she gets something and he doesn’t, he will bite her and take it out on her. He also seems to have a problem with taking things that aren’t his. He's so little and sneaky that he ALWAYS steals things laying around and runs under the couch very quietly with it. Usually he will steal paper, money, make-up, leather things or any little thing that is
destructible. So, basically he is quite the pistol!

Pablo loves to go for rides in the car and play ball (which he brings back!) It seems he likes anything that contains milk or cheese. The reason why Pablo is a nominee for the pet of the week is because his birthday is this week! He was born on April 6, 2008 and so it is his first birthday! When i go for rides, Pablo usually comes with me and i have Q107-WMQT on my radio and so he is a loyal listener also!
