CARNIVAL OF CASH

Well, we have a winner!  Deb Snell of Ishpeming had the magic car starter in our "Carnival of Cash" contest Friday night in Ishpeming.  Deb now heads into the Peninsula Bank vault to grab as much of $5,000 as she can in 1 minute and 7 seconds!

How would YOU like to be able to walk into a bank vault and then walk back out with cash? If you're the Grand Prize winner of our "Carnival of Cash" contest, you could!

Here's the deal--throughout April. listen on the air for your chance to qualify, AND get into each participating sponsor to sign up. On May 3rd, we'll announce one finalist from EACH store, plus one finalist from on the air. May 4th, we'll bring them to the Ishpeming Main Street carnival. That evening, in front of the whole carnival crowd, you'll see cars from Central Pontiac. Each finalist will be given a remote car starter from Xtreme Sound & Performance. Most of the car starters will do nothing. One will make a car start. The person holding that starter will then go to the Peninsula Bank on May 5th. They'll be led into the vault, where there will be $5,000 is cash lying about.

That person has 1 minutes and 7 seconds to pick up whatever they can. Whatever they do pick up, they keep.

The rules? The contest ends May 3, 2007. You must be 18 or older to win. There's no purchase necessary. You can only be chosen as a finalist once. Each participating business will have one finalist chosen. There will also be one on-air finalist chosen. All finalists must be at the Ishpeming Main Street Carnival May 4th for a shot at the grand prize.

Grand prize winner has these clothing rules to follow while in the Peninsula Bank vault--winner must wear a finalist T-shirt, and have no altered clothing, no baggy pants, no bib overalls, no oversized pockets, and no cargo pants. Clothing will be inspected by judges beforehand.

Employees of Taconite Broadcasting and ALL sponsors are not eligible to win. All decisions of the judges are final. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
