NEW YORK, NY  [Monday Apr.10.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- Mariah Carey is following in the fragrant footsteps of Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and Britney Spears.

The "Don't Forget About Us" singer is going to launch her own fragrance line with the help of Elizabeth Arden.

According to her official web site, Mariah has signed an exclusive, global licensing agreement with the cosmetics giant, and her first fragrance will debut in department stores in the spring of 2007.

Mariah will be personally involved in all aspects of product development, packaging and marketing.
