Fall Out Boy kicks off White Sox game in Chicago.
CHICAGO, IL [Thursday Apr.20.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Windy City natives Fall Out Boy hit one for the home team on Wednesday (April 19), when the band performed at the Chicago White Sox game against the Kansas City Royals.
Prior to the first pitch at Chicago's US Cellular Field, Fall Out Boy delivered a two-song acoustic set for White Sox fans. The 2005 World Series champs went on to defeat the Kansas City Royals in a shut-out game, with a final score of 4-0.
Later that evening, Fall Out Boy headlined the "Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour" at Chicago's UIC Pavilion. The emo rockers are on a nationwide tour to support its latest album, "From Under The Cork Tree."
