But don't worry; it's for a worthy cause.

Recently, the Coldplay frontman was involved in a charity auction to raise funds for the Canonbury Primary School in London. Martin offered to perform a song in the living room of the highest bidder.

RollingStone.com reports that the winning bid for a serenade from Chris came in around $10,000. The money will help the school build a new resource and IT center.

Martin took part in the charity auction because Coldplay's manager has a child that attends the school.
