James Blunt Wins Two Ivor Novello Awards
Blunt, KT Tunstall, Gorillaz win UK's Ivor Novello Awards.

LONDON, UK [Tuesday May.30.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- James Blunt picked up a pair of trophies, and the Gorillaz, KT Tunstall and Kaiser Chiefs were also winners at this year's Ivor Novello Awards ceremony.
Presented last week in London by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, the Ivor Novello Awards honor songwriting and music excellence among UK artists.
James Blunt's hit single "You're Beautiful" received awards for Most Performed Work and International Hit of the Year, while Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlitt took home Songwriter of the Year for their work on the groundbreaking animated band, the Gorillaz. KT Tunstall's "Suddenly I See" earned her the Best Song Musically & Lyrically, and the Kaiser Chiefs debut disc "Employment" was recognized with the Best Album Award.
