LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Aug.15.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- The flight delays out of Heathrow kept Snow Patrol from making The Endfest in Auburn, WA and the he Bite of Oregon in Portland, OR. There are no posting about missing the Boston show or any of the other on the current tour.

The group informed fans with this note posted on their website:

SNOW PATROL SHOW CANCELLATIONS!!!
We regretfully inform you that Snow Patrol will not be able to perform at the following events DUE TO HEATHROW TERRORIST PLOT AND CONSEQUENT DELAYS.

AUGUST 11TH 2006: Due to the recent terrorist alert at London Heathrow yesterday, which has caused continuation of delayed and postponed flights through today, we regret to inform you that Snow Patrol will not be able to perform two scheduled RADIO shows this weekend. 40% of Snow Patrol made it into the country while the other 60% got stopped coming from Norway to Heathrow and were unable to complete their journey to the states due to missing connection flights and non availability flights to Portland and Seattle.

Gary- "We really did try to get to Seattle and then on to Portland! It became a personal quest of mine this morning, but Heathrow was against me (us) and we are now grounded in London with no luggage or backline. Believe me when I say that we are doing everything in our power to get to Boston for Tuesdays gig"
