Raconteurs Rock the House at the VMA's
The music's the thing

by Laura Katz

The Raconteurs
NEW YORK, NY  [Wednesday Sep.6.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- The Raconteurs a house band?

They were at the MTV VMA's last week. There may have been mixed reviews for the recent awards show, but no one had any complaints about the appearance of these lads.

Lou Reed graced the stage with his presence for their first song, a cover of "White Heat/White Light" by The Velvet Underground. Afterward, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons joined the crew.

There's still no word on what will become of The White Stripes while Jack goes off to play with the boys.
The Raconteurs have been busy as bees lately, with no sign of letting up soon.
