LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Sep.15.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- Richard Branson of Virgin has announced that he's taking the V Festival to a whole new level.

Last week, we reported that the Canadian concert was so successful that they were adding more venues around Canada. But the festival has now reached global status, with shows coming to Italy, Spain, and South America, with the possibility of adding Australia to the mix.

Back in the US, The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be headlining the festival at Baltimore's Pimlico Racecourse on September 23rd. The Peppers are notorious for putting on unforgettable shows, so it's not one to miss.
