LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Sep.21.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- Nelly Furtado's "Maneater" video shoot became a dangerous endeavor due to the...dancing?

Sounds strange, but according to MTV, the singer found herself in some treacherous spots during the shoot. Nelly 'jammed' on a slanted rooftop complete with a 100 foot drop, 'boogied' with barbed wire, and 'got down' in a roomful of flames. She also did some time with a giant dog to which she was highly allergic. At one point, Nelly got so lost in the moment that she plunged her hand down on the barbed wire, slicing her finger wide open.

Ever the pro, Furtado shrugged it off and kept
going. Nelly said, "Doing the rest of the video from there was a breeze. Besides, I like to walk on the dangerous side of life."
