LOS ANGELES, CA [Friday Oct.20.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- James Blunt will be headlining a charity concert benefiting Doctors Without Borders.
The singer's first exposure to the life-saving group was when he was stationed in Kosovo while serving as a reconnaissance officer in the army. Blunt recalls being in awe of the organization's work to help those in need.
The benefit concert will be held on November 16th at The House Of Blues in Los Angeles.
Blunt has also begun auctioning off a personal meet and greet at each show on his current US tour, already raising $70,000. Fans can bid at merch booth to meet Blunt after the gig, with all proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.
