LONDON, UK  [Friday Oct.27.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- Gnarls Barkley's DJ Banksy has broken his own auction record by snagging nearly $117,000 for a piece of his artwork.

The painting, which is featured on Blur's album "Think Tank," portrays couple embracing in diving gear, and sold for 10 times the original estimated value. The artist/DJ also recently sold a stenciled version of the Mona Lisa for over $100,000, and a painting called "Young Child With Bird," which went for almost $60,000.

The "Think Tank" piece was purchased an anonymous 'Pop Art' enthusiast who intends to keep the painting as part of a larger collection.
