MySpace Organizes 20 Shows To Benefit Sudan Crisis

LOS ANGELES, CA [Wednesday Nov.1.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Music acts like The Fray, Jamie Cullum, and Secret Machines have contributed their time and talent to help with the ongoing crisis in Sudan.
With the help of MySpace, 20 bands played shows in 20 different cities, with a portion of all ticket sales going to Oxfam, the leading international relief organization in Sudan and Chad. All the shows took place on the same day, October 21st.
MySpace chief Chris DeWolfe said of the concert campaign, "The crisis in Darfur is a global concern and as a global community we have a responsibility to take action."
