LOS ANGELES, CA [Thursday Dec.7.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Giant Drag is about halfway finished with their follow-up to the 2005 album "Hearts and Unicorns."
While they still have a way to go, lead singer Annie Hardy has given fans a tongue-in-cheek preview of what the new record may sound like, citing 'influences' like My Chemical Romance and The Killers.
Annie states on the website, giantdrag.com, "I can't tell you what to expect because only about half the songs are written. But my guess is it will sound like My Chemical Romance multiplied by Green Day divided by The Killers minus Queen plus U2. Times Incubus minus eyeliner to the square root of pizza with a dash of AFI for taste. Mmm, my mouth is watering already."
The album has no set release date at this time, but you can currently hear Ms. Hardy on the Deftones' latest, "Saturday Night Wrist" on the track "Pink Cellphone."
