LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Dec.18.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- Beyonce Knowles has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards for her work in the new movie "Dreamgirls."

The superstar has been nominated for best actress for her portrayl of Deena Jones, a soul diva who is loosely based on singer Diana Ross. Knowles is also up for best song, "Listen," which she co-wrote and performed.

Former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson has been nominated for best supporting actress for her role in the film as well.

The Golden Globe Awards are scheduled for January 15 in Los Angeles.
