Peppers Get Disney-fied
Band's tunes are the backdrop for theme park rides

by Laura Katz

Red Hot Chili Peppers
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Jan.2.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- The next time you ride Disneyland's famed Space Mountain, you'll be screaming along to the sounds of The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The band has agreed to supply the soundtrack for two of the themepark's attractions. The Stevie Wonder cover "Higher Ground" will be played during the Space Mountain ride, and "Around The World" will back the California Screamin' roller coaster.

Both the songs and the rides are getting revamped for the park as part of a special promotion that starts January 3rd and goes on through April 26th.
