LOS ANGELES, CA [Monday Jan.8.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- Bono is playing a major part in the Born To Rock exhibition at Harrods in London.
The U2 frontman has designed a guitar that will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to a children's charity. Bono's musical creation features images from his book "Peter And The Wolf."
Also featured in the exhibit are guitars once played by Jimi Hendrix and Muddy Waters, as well as those from contemporary artists like Kasabian and Oasis.
Born To Rock also offers a rare treat - it's showing the first known electric guitar called the "Frying Pan."
