LOS ANGELES, CA [Monday Feb.26.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- "Dreamgirls" star Jennifer Hudson won Best Supporting Actress at the 79th annual Oscar Awards last night, but Beyonce Knowles' hit song "Listen" didn't score the big win.
In a major Oscar-night surprise, Melissa Etheridge took home the award for Best Original Song for "I Need To Wake Up," featured in the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," which also won in its category.
But that didn't stop Beyonce from performing a show-stopping rendition of the track. The seasoned singer joined her co-stars for a dramatic "Dreamgirls" medley.
