NASHVILLE, TN  [Thursday Mar.15.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- Tim McGraw and Faith Hill say they can't wait to renew the Soul2Soul tour this year with Jeep as sponsor. They appeared last week at the Hall of Fame in Nashville along with the 1978 Jeep they fell in love in while on tour in 1996.

"We're really excited to be going back out on the road again," says Faith about the new Jeep Presents Soul2Soul 2007 tour. "It was an incredible summer last year, more than we could ever expect, more than we could ever imagine and this time we're going to do it again with Jeep, (we have a) big history with Jeep," Faith adds.

She's then goaded by Tim to tell the now famous story of how their realationship grew into a permanent arrangement in a 1978 Jeep.

FAITH: " Back in 1996, we were in State College, Pennsylvania ("It was in March" says Tim) ...it was in March and we were doing a show together, we borrowed the Jeep of this runner for the fair where we were performing '(It was State College Stadium' inserts Tim giving Faith a hard time as she tells the famous story), Any way we took a ride in this borrowed Jeep that is now sitting out in front of the Hall of Fame, and that was the place that we definitely decided that we were going to be together, that from that point on we were going to take this relationship seriously and make a life together and it started in that Jeep right out there and it's a nice little way to finish out a circle...and you can add all the details that I left out!"

TIM: "Well there's not too many details I want to add. She tracked down the Jeep and gave it to me for my birthday a couple of years ago and I thought that was a pretty cool surprise. We're excited. I had a Jeep when I was in high school, always had a good time in them, tore a few up in the mud. And this one is very special to us as you can tell that she told. And we're excited to get back on the road again. Last summer was really cool for us, that was the third time we'd been on tour together. The first tour was my Spontaneous Combustion tour which was my first headlining tour."

Tim and Faith agreed they felt last year there was still more to be done on tour.

CAN THEY TOP LAST YEAR'S TOUR? Faith says the fabulous stage they had last year is designed to do a lot more things that they plan to plug into the show this year hinting at more cool stuff from the stage and more cool music from both of their bands.
