McGraw 's "Let It Go" Hits Stores
Single "Last Dollar" setting at #2

by Neil Haislop

Tim McGraw
NASHVILLE, TN  [Wednesday Mar.28.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- There's plenty to recommend on "Let It Go," the new album Tim McGraw lets go to find its way in the market place today.

Not the least of which are the two songs that Faith sings on and the one cool song McGraw wrote. Faith sings on "I Need You," and she adds her vocals to "Shotgun Rider." Tim turns in some of his most country, country vocals on tunes like "Shotgun Rider," "Kristofferson" and "Whiskey and You." Tim also tapped Faith's discovery, Lori McKenna who co-wrote (with Darrel Scott) a truly unique look at the worry, sacrifice and loneliness of people that work for a living and trying to hold onto love in the process.

Tim wrote a tune with the Warren Brothers titled "Train #10, that's a swaying, melancholy look at a man who has trouble letting go of a lover. And wait till you drop a laser on "Nothin' To Die For," a precautionary tale that may save many lives if it's on the iPod or in the CD player of the car a drunk driver starts up to drive into possible oblivion. The lead off single, "Last Dollar," is setting at #2 in the nation, a strong calling card for a huge new CD from McGraw.
