Bono Meets With German Chancellor
Star to get his time at G8 summit

LOS ANGELES, CA [Wednesday Apr.18.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- Pr-inside.com reports that U2's Bono has met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday April 17th to discuss the problem of extreme poverty in Africa.
As a result of the meeting, the legendary singer will now be able to use the G8 summit in northern Germany in June 2007 as a platform to bring global attention to the crisis situation.
Bono says, "Africa is this magical, extraordinary continent and we've got to start describing it more as an opportunity than a burden."
