LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday May.1.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- Gigwise.com reports that Green Day is helping to raise money for Darfur by releasing a charity single on iTunes.

The rock band has covered John Lennon's classic tune "Working Class Hero," which, starting today, will be available exclusively through the online music store.

All proceeds will go to help people affected by the crisis in Darfur.
