Satellite Party Releases Goes Green On New Album
Manufacture of CD's to help build renewable energy

by Laura Katz

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday May.3.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- Perry Farrell's Satellite Party is releasing their debut album at the end of the month, featuring not only a host of a-list guests, but also some environmentally-friendly technology.

Fergie, Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante and
New Order's Peter Hook all appear on "Ultra Payloaded," due out on May 29th.

According to NME.com, the album sleeve is printed on recycled paper, and the CDs are carbon neutral. What's more, "the estimated CO2 produced from its manufacture, shipping and packaging being offset by helping build renewable energy projects with Nativeenergy.com/sony".

You can hear the first single "Wish Upon A Dog Star" and more on www.myspace.com/satelliteparty.
