LOS ANGELES, CA [Tuesday May.15.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell wants to turn the annual US festival into a worldwide event.
He tells MTV.com, "I'm going to look to take it global."
"I want to put together an event around the world in the next 10 years that will refashion, redress, and transform. It's something I'm looking into now, and if it happens, it will happen quick. That's my ambition."
This year's festival will take place August 3rd-5th in Chicago's Grant Park. Some of the artists performing at this year's event include Modest Mouse, Snow Patrol, Muse, Interpol, Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam and Daft Punk, among others.
