U2 Hits Cannes Film Festival
Veteran band launches "U23D" with mini-set

CANNES, FRANCE [Monday May.21.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- U2 hit Cannes to help launch their new film "U23D" at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, May 19th.
Reuters reports that the veteran band played a small set on the red carpet, including the songs "Vertigo" and "Where The Steets Have No Name."
The 90-minute film will be released internationally in nearly 1000 3D-equipped theatres.
