NASHVILLE, TN [Tuesday May.22.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- There seemed to be enough radio stations grabbing hold of the Tim McGraw, ACM Awards' show performance audio of "If You're Reading This," that it could very well debut on the singles charts this week.
According to McGraw's manager, if McGraw pulls this off, it will be the second time a televised performance of his charted. A few years back McGraw made history when his CMA Awards Show performance of "Things Change" charted.
"It's so hard to create those moments on national television in an awards show environment," said Scott Siman, McGraw's manager. "It's a testament to the level of his artistry what was accomplished both in terms of the performance and in touching the hearts of all Americans."
BY THE WAY, If the song does debut it will mark the third track involving McGraw on the single charts joining his smash hit single with wife Faith Hill "I Need You" and as a featured vocalist on "You Find Out Who Your Friends Are" with Tracy Lawrence.
R: A studio recorded single release of "If You're Reading This?" No decisions have been made yet on that, says Tim's camp.
