LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jun.4.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way has confirmed that he's engaged.

NME.com reports that Way and the rest of the band were at the Rock Am Ring festival in Germany when he publicly broke the big news. Band members were claiming that it was a friendship ring but the singer set the record straight.

He said, "They're lying. The truth is I'm engaged and I'm really excited about it."
