LONDON, UK [Wednesday Jun.13.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- NME.com reports that Apple's online music store has branched out into the festival market.
iTunes has announced a month-long music concert series that will hit the UK this July, featuring artists including Amy Winehouse, Mika, Imogen Heap, The View and Crowded House. Two artists will perform each day of the event, with 60 artists participating in all.
Fans won't be able to purchase tickets for the festival - instead they will have to win them through artist websites and various TV and radio promotions.
Performances will be recorded live an made available on iTunes within 24 hours.
