Rascal Flatts Surpass 1 Million Paid Downloads 3 X Over
"Bless The Broken Road" latest to make the list

by Neil Haislop

Rascal Flatts
NASHVILLE, TN  [Friday Jun.15.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- According to Nielsen SoundScan, Rascal Flatts is the only country act to have three songs surpass the 1 million digital downloads mark. "Bless The Broken Road," 2005's Grammy Country Song of the Year, is the band's most-recent song to surpass 1 million digital downloads, joining the band's previously certified tracks "What Hurts The Most" and "Life Is A Highway."

Rascal Flatts is the only country artist in the history of SoundScan to have three songs reach 1 million digital downloads. The band is one of only six other artists, including Justin Timberlake, Black Eyed Peas, All American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, and Nickelback, to have three songs with more than 1 million digital downloads. This information comes as no surprise as the band ended 2006 as the best-selling digital artist across all genres of music.

In the upcoming weeks the band will kick-off their "Still Feels Good" tour. The band is also in the studio with producer Dann Huff, recording new music for their forthcoming album, releasing September 25th.
