LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Jul.10.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- Snow Patrol keyboardist Tom Simpson was arrested over the weekend for failing to appear in court on drug charges.

The bust was made just hours after performing at the London leg of Live Earth, according to contactmusic.com.

The musician was supposed to appear in court in Scotland on possession of Class A substances. According to London's Metropolitan Police department, "A 35-year-old man wanted on a sheriff warrant was arrested. He will remain in custody until transferred."

Unfortunately for Snow Patrol, the arrest meant that they had to quickly find a fill-in for their appearance at the T In The Park festival in Scotland the very next day.
