LOS ANGELES, CA [Thursday Jul.19.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- Gwen Stefani is suing clothing retailer Forever 21 for allegedly ripping off designs from her Harajuku Lovers line, which falls under the L.A.M.B. clothing line umbrella.
A rep for Stefani told E! News, "We feel that both our L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers designs have been infringed upon by Forever 21 and we plan to vigorously protect our intellectual property."
Stefani's company claims that the Forever 21 copies are "virtually indistinguishable" from the original line. They are seeking monetary damages, punitive damages, as well as Forever 21's profits and gains from the garments.
