LAS VEGAS, NV  [Thursday Aug.9.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- Gnarls Barkley's "Smiley Faces" has been nominated for an MTV VMA.

The documentary-inspired video is nominated in the "Best Editing" category, competing against Beyonce Knowles, Justin Timberlake, Linkin Park and Kanye West. The video was directed by Robert Hales.

The duo took home two honors last year for "Crazy."
