LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Sep.18.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- A concert goer impaled himself at a Hinder show last week, all because he didn't want to spend an extra $5 for the entry fee.

He had a ticket, says teenmusic.com, but to avoid an extra charge, he climbed a 12 foot fence to sneak into the Bad Boys of Rock show featuring Hinder, Papa Roach and Buckcherry.

During the attempt, one of the fence's spikes went into his thigh. Firefighters had to cut part of the fence away to free the unnamed man. He has since undergone surgery.
