NASHVILLE, TN [Monday Sep.24.2007] /WMQT.com/ -- With the top three albums on the Hot 200 chart this week selling a collective 2,035,000 copies (Kanye West's, Graduation, 50 Cent's, Curtis, and Kenny Chesney's, Just Who I Am), Rascal Flatts' label, Lyric Street records is encouraged that record sales are beginning a comeback.
That makes them confident that Rascal Flatts' STILL FEELS GOOD is poised to further contribute to the comeback by launching big next Tuesday, September 25th. How big? First week sales strong enough to possibly repeat their current highest debut country album total for the last two years, the 721,747 first week sales for last year's monster release, Me and My Gang.
Lyric Street Marketing head, Greg McCarn, tell us, "We're anticipating a figure of better than 500,000 sales with the potential of it being much more."
Acknowledging that, "you can never be sure," McCarn says they're backing up their confidence by shipping 1.5 million units to market for next week.
