LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Oct.11.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts received two nominations each in the country category when the nominees for the 2007 American Music Awards were announced Tuesday. McGraw's Let It Go, Rascal Flatts' Me and My Gang and Underwood's Some Hearts are nominated for favorite album. McGraw, Toby Keith and Brad Paisley are competing for favorite male country artist, and Underwood, Martina McBride and Taylor Swift are running for favorite female artist. Rascal Flatts, Big & Rich and Brooks & Dunn are nominated for favorite country band, duo or group.

Fan voting began Tuesday and continues through November 2 at ABC.com. The awards show takes place November 18 in Los Angeles.
