LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Oct.15.2007]  /WMQT.com/ -- Jermaine Dupri says to expect new material from girlfriend Janet Jackson in the first half of next year. He's likely to be the executive producer, and is currently working on pulling together music that she likes. The album will even feature Janet singing with Maroon 5.

Rumors of a duet with Mariah Carey continue to circulate, but he says the hook-up has to be right. "I wouldn't want to do a song with [Mariah] and Janet and it don't live up to them being as big as they are. ... But [the collaboration] is gonna surface one day. Something is gonna come up, and we gonna say, 'This is it.' "
