[Tuesday Sep.23.2003]  /WMQT.com/ -- Just when you thought (or hoped maybe) that you'd heard the last of Nickelback, the NMC eCharting artists are back with a new album.

Their CD The Long Road drops today.

The album is a bit of an experiment for the fellas, it's the first time they've produced their own record. "Well, we kinda take on a lot of work ourselves even when we do work with a producer," says bassist Mike Kroeger. "So there's not a lot of hand-holding required for a producer when they work with us. We kind of know what it takes to do what we want to do. The job of a producer is quite a mixed bag of job descriptions - some producers do a lot more than others, but we need the ones that just help make the songs sound the best."
