LOS ANGELES, CA [Wednesday Nov.12.2003] /WMQT.com/ -- Saturday, November 15, NMC artists Red Hot Chili Peppers will rock the Hollywood Palladium in the name of charity. The proceeds from the performance by the group, System of a Down, and Mike Watt (among others) will go to benefit the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center and the Silverlake Conservatory of Music - a non-profit music school founded by the Chili Peppers' bassist Flea in 2001. Offering classes and one-on-one instruction for children and adults, the school boasts over 25 instructors and over 400 students.
Tickets for the concert will be $55 for floor seating and $85 for balcony seating, and will go on sale at 10:00am on Thursday, November 13. A limited number of tickets are already being auctioned on
Ticketmaster's site. The auction will close at 7:00pm Pacific time on Wednesday, November 12.
