SAN FRANCISCO, CA  [Friday Nov.14.2003]  /WMQT.com/ -- He can hike the ball, but can he carry a tune? New Orleans Saints center Jerry Fontenot will be rocking with Nickelback for a song during the halftime of the 49ers/Steelers game. The song to be aired is yet undetermined, but during the taping, Jerry and Nickelback jammed to "Leader Of Men," "Someday," and "How You Remind Me."

The song will be shown during the first segment in the halftime show during ABC's Monday Night Football broadcast, immediately after the first commercial break after the end of the first half. After the segment, which will also include a collaborative performance by Doug Flutie and Barenaked Ladies, viewers will be able to vote for their favorite player/musician duo. Results of the vote will be announced at the end of the third quarter.
