LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Dec.12.2003]  /WMQT.com/ -- Life For Rent, Dido's long-awaited second album, has sold more that 6.5 million units internationally.

The unprecedented simultaneous worldwide release on September 30th (Eric Stoltz's birthday, by the way) spawned gold, platinum and multi-platinum certifications in 25 territories, including platinum in the U.S., 6-x platinum in the U.K., and 5x-platinum in bonnie, bonnie Ireland.

In addition to being nominated for a Grammy, Life For Rent's first single, "White Flag" was a #5 Adult Top 40 and Modern AC hit that also hit top 10 on the Adult Contemporary side. The Video has been a VH1 Top 20 Countdown entry every week since its debut in August on the television program "The O.C." which stars Tate Donovan, from the acclaimed NBC program "Mister Sterling".
