BURBANK, CA  [Tuesday Dec.30.2003]  /WMQT.com/ -- 'Tween pop sensation, Avril Lavigne, got a little bit cold at a recent show at L.A.'s Viper Room nightclub earlier this month. Trying to pass as one of the crowd filling the club to see popular Monday night residents, Metal Shop, Lavigne did not go unnoticed.

At one point in the show, lead guitarist Rikki Ratchet (played by Thornbird's guitarist Russell Parrish) stopped the band in mid-song and pointed Lavigne out to the crowd. "Hey, you're not a rock star! You're a pop star!"

The singer was accompanied by fellow Canadians Cone McCaslin and Steve Jocz of Sum 41 and went along with the good natured ribbing. She even accomodated Metal Shop's request later and lifted her shirt, exposing a "very sheer black bra".

Rock on, Avril!
