BURBANK, CA  [Friday Jan.16.2004]  /WMQT.com/ -- "Life For Rent", Dido's multi-platinum album contains the Grammy nominated "White Flag", which was written as a sort of apology to the fiance with whom she broke off an engagement.

The singer understands that at least some of her success is due to the lyrics co-written by her brother, Rollo Armstrong, who is also her songwriting partner.

"We write a lot of lyrics together, and he'll write these lines with incredible images, and then I'll sort of put much more real lyrics around it,' she says. "I can always tell what lines each of us has done because of that.'
