BURBANK, CA [Thursday Feb.5.2004] /WMQT.com/ -- Sheryl Crow will be the keynote speaker at the 58th annual Kennet, Missouri, Chamber of Commerce Banquet?
Why, you ask?
That's where the nine time Grammy award winner grew up. She began playing piano at age six and left a few years later, winding up in Los Angeles, California in 1986. She worked as a session musician for several years, working with artists such as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart and many more. After working with songwriters such as Kevin Gilbert, she signed with A&M records and hit it big with her debut album, "Tuesday Night Music Club" in 1993.
If you'd like to go to the banquet, it's April 12th at the American Legion Building in Kennet, Missouri. Tickets are thirty five bucks unless you're a member of the Chamber of Commerce; then you'll save ten bucks on your ticket.
