Says being on stage is incredible experience.
DETROIT, MI [Monday Mar.22.2004] /WMQT.com/ -- Nickelback guitarist Ryan Peake says that the thrill of playing live and seeing firsthand the effect of his music on the crowd is an unparalleled experience.
"It's hard to explain unless you're up there. People screaming, singing, bouncing around and moving their head to stuff that you've created. There's just something very cool about that," he says. "I have inner-ear monitors and they dampen a lot of the crowd noise so some nights I just walk on stage and pop one out."
"The best compliment we can get is when a fan comes up and says, 'Hey man, got your album, and it's cool, but you guys are way better live'," he adds.
