DETROIT, MI  [Tuesday Mar.30.2004]  /WMQT.com/ -- Last week's 3 Doors Down show at the Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama was an unmitigated success. The band hoped to raise $125,000 for 16 Gulf Coast charities, the majority of which focus on helping children, and organizers say they may have exceeded their goal. The band donated their own payment for the show, accepted corporate donations, and auctioned off band memorabilia.

3 Doors Down will tour this summer with Nickelback, dates to be announced later this week.
