Barenaked Ladies and Morissette Tour US
Fellow Canadians embark on "Au Naturale" summer tour.

by Krista Desens

Barenaked Ladies
SPRINGFIELD, MO  [Tuesday Apr.27.2004]  /WMQT.com/ -- The Barenaked Ladies will co-headline a month-long, summer tour with Alanis Morissette beginning in mid-July. On the "Au Naturale Tour," the fellow Canadians will play in ampitheaters across the US in 22 cities. Morissette and the Barenaked Ladies will alternate in the opening spot on the bill. "I've loved these crazy gentlemen for years, and it will be a true honor traveling around America making some joyful noise with them," Morissette said in a statement. "I look forward to being with a group of people who will not snicker to themselves when I say the word 'about' or 'eh.'... Making art and cracking up on tour with the Barenaked Ladies sounds like a fantasy summer to me."

The Barenaked Ladies are touring in support of "Everything to Everyone," which they released in late 2003. This May, Morisette will release "So-Called Chaos" on Maverick Records.
