AUSTIN, TX  [Thursday Jul.22.2004]  /WMQT.com/ -- Los Lonely Boys strike a chord for Texas and music education on the new all-star CD compilation, "Don't Mess With La Musica De Tejas." Set for release next Tuesday, July 27, the album is the latest in a series of CDs put out by the Texas Music Project (TMP). Proceeds benefit music education for Latino children in Texas schools.

"Don't Mess With La Musica De Tejas" includes Los Lonely Boys' Spanish version of "Crazy Dream/Sueno Mal." Other performers featured include Flaco Jimenez, Ruben Ramos, Michelle, Los Desperadoz, Jay Perez, Del Castillo, Havana NRG, Elida Reyna, Grupo Fantasma, Patricia Vonne, Latin Breed, Randy Garibay, Sisters Morales, Michael Salgado and Henry Brun and Grupo Vida. All artists donated their talent to produce the CD.
