LOS ANGELES, CA [Monday Aug.2.2004] /WMQT.com/ -- In Avril Lavigne's video for her next single "Nobody's Home," viewers will see the artist in a different way. The video marks Lavigne's video acting debut. In some scenes, a formally-decked out Lavigne is shown backed by a chamber orchestra in a concert hall. Other segments show Lavigne as a down-and-out girl on the street.
The clip was shot last Thursday (July 29) and Friday (July 30) in Los Angeles, but it won't air until October, when the third single from Lavigne's "Under My Skin" is expected to hit radio outlets. The video was filmed now because Lavigne is going on the road to tour Japan and Europe.
Lavigne co-wrote "Nobody's Home" with former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody.
