Henry Garza wrote Heaven's lyrics as a prayer.
AUSTIN, TX [Tuesday Aug.3.2004] /WMQT.com/ -- If Los Lonely Boys' breakthrough hit, "Heaven," sounds like a rock n' roll call to a higher power, that's because it is. Guitarist-vocalist Henry Garza originally wrote the lyrics to "Heaven" as a prayer. After Henry wrote the words, he and his brothers, JoJo (bass-vocals) and Ringo (drums-vocals), came up with the song's music. "Heaven" went on to become Los Lonely Boys' breakthrough hit and propelled the trio's self-titled album into the platinum sphere.
It's true Los Lonely Boys are talented musicians and hardworking. They've built a strong following over the years and have been touring extensively to promote their music. But maybe, just maybe, the guys are also getting a little help from above.
